Cloud Empire Games today published Update 3.15 for the Alpha of Star Citizen. The focus is on new gameplay mechanics that affect the health of the characters in the game. We have summarized some highlights of the update for you.

This is new in Alpha version 3.15 by Star Citizen

Thanks to a new life system, players can now go to ground if they move in injuries. In this phase, players can help the fallen colleagues back to their legs. If the character comes to life, on the other hand, all objects are dropped in the inventory. Cloud Imperial Games increases the risk for all players. Already on the test server, this mechanics caused chaotic states.

Also, injuries to certain body parts influence your character in Star Citizen in different ways. For example, injuries lead to dizziness. If an arm wounded, players could have some difficulties in targeting a weapon.

Healing and new hospitals

Using the Curative Medical Gun or the Healing Beam expansion, players can heal themselves or other teammates at short notice. If the new remedies are used too often, this also has consequences for your character. To the possible consequences include blurred view, dull tone and more. Injuries can be treated in hospitals — new buildings were placed in Orison, Grim hex and New Babbage.
