Sven Väth (born October 26, 1964 in Obertshausen, Germany) is a German Techno music DJ who has produced a lot of jobs since the beginning of his career in 1982. It is also one of the founders of Harthouse Records and now Disappeared Eye Q Records. Väth is also known as R or Ready and Sam Vision. He has been a member of the groups 16 Bit, Astral Pilot, Barbarella, The Essence of Nature, Metal Masters, Mosaic and Off. Väth is best known for its 1986 HIT, Electrica Salsa published under the pseudonym of off, simple that reached the first places in the European lists. At present he is the visible head and founder of the cocoon stamp besides owning a club in Frankfurt am Main with the same name.
