Treyarch details the characteristics of the new Zombies of Call of Duty: Vanguard
Call of Duty: Vanguard s The trailer of zombies was followed by a complete revelation of the main game mode on Thursday to discuss all the new features present in the new version of Zombies. Players will continue to have hordes of living dead to tear down, but just as the mode has changed with each new Call of Duty game, things will work a little differently in vanguardia as the game mode returns to its roots in the Second World War.
While playing as special forces operators present in other parts of vanguardia, players continue the story of Dark Aether in this new experience of zombies. The great bad is the Oberführer von List, which has joined Kortifex the Deathless with the first now capable of reviving the dead, hence the legions of zombies.

Von List uses the Kortifex entity to pursue its own objectives, but players will have their own entities to use. Treyarch shared some details about those entities and their corresponding artifacts to better explain something of what we saw in the advance.
When a human interacts with one of the artifacts, they form a connection with its corresponding Dark Aether entity, Treyarch said. «Each of them gives access to a different skill. He picks up the sword of Inviktor and wins his ring attack of fire. Bellekar s mask gives him the power of Ether shroud, the North s horn grants explosion of frost and the Saraxis dragon grants mine energy.
Once you enter a zombie departure, players begin in a start area full of zombies and possible updates like those that would normally find. From there there are different portals that take players to one of the three objectives: Blitz, Transmit and Harvest.
By completing these objectives, you will get access to more advantages and resources that will help you survive in longer races. You also get a sacrifice heart that is used in the Alter of Covenants , a new system that is used to diversify the styles of play.
After each goal, players are rewarded with a heart of sacrifice to spend on Altar of Covenants, which offers a wide variety of random improvements to choose from, as Ammo Gremlin, Brain Rot or Unholy Ground, Treyarch said. The Altar of Covenants also provides increasingly rare and powerful Covenants as the game progresses, so stay attentive to those legendary pacts as you survive in the game.
The acquisitions of weapons also work a little differently in this zombies mode. You get a main weapon and an artifact of your choice at the beginning of the game, but if you want more weapons, you get looting chests, killing zombies and betting on the mysterious box instead of traditional wall purchases, Treyarch said. The mysterious box, of course, will also be at your disposal, and the rewards of the box will become more powerful as the game progresses.
